Cream Cheese Walnut Bread
(350F 23min, for big two pieces)
[Dough]
- Water 100g
- Sugar 30g
- Dry yeast 3g
- AP flour 250g
- Salt 2g
- Egg 1
- Unsalted butter 15g
- Walnut, a fistful
[Filling]
- Cream cheese 200g
- Powdered sugar 20g
- Knead all ingredients except butter and walnut.
- Add butter and knead until absorbed.
- Add Walnut to the dough and fold a few times.
- Rise for an hour (until doubled).
- Whip the cream cheese with the powdered sugar until smooth.
- Divide the dough into two.
- Flatten the dough into a long shape, pipe the cream cheese mixture, and close.
- Cut the edges so it doesn’t burst during baking.
- Egg wash and bake.
